Katie Kiihnl earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration cum laude from the University of Tennessee—Knoxville in 2006. She is a 2009 graduate of the University of Memphis School of Law, where she participated in Moot Court, the Public Action Law Society, and was trained as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (“C.A.S.A.”) to represent the needs of children in child custody and deprivation cases. While in law school, Katie received the Custer-Tuggle Award for Excellence in Family Law from the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and earned the CALI Award in Family Law. Prior to joining Boyd Collar Nolen & Tuggle, Katie was an associate with Kessler, Schwarz & Solomiany in Atlanta.
Katie is admitted to the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia (Family Law Section), the Atlanta Bar Association (Family Law Section), and serves as a Guardian ad Litem for the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Katie now lives in Vinings with her Labrador retriever, Memphis.
