Date: October 4, 2017
ATLANTA, Oct. 3, 2017- Boyd Collar Nolen & Tuggle is pleased to announce that Meagan Hanson, associate of the divorce and family law firm, added another dimension to her legal experience by shaping and passing laws in her first legislative session as the representative of Georgia House District 80, which includes Brookhaven, Chamblee and Sandy Springs.
Rep. Hanson sponsored a bill that helped make child support provisions fair, including making the law’s language gender neutral. The bill cleaned up outdated and inconsistent language and corrected errors. Language from House Bill 308 was incorporated into Senate Bill 137, which passed the General Assembly and was signed into law.
